Monday we started off with a River Ranger talking to us about keeping rivers clean, especially the Tualatin River because that’s where most people get their water from.
In math we started subtracting, adding and multiplying decimals. We also learned several more ways to write a good and descriptive personal narrative! Most importantly, we are all excited about the Monster Mash!
Our goals for the week were to really be descriptive in our writing and to pretend that our writing was as descriptive as a “movie camera”. In math, our goals were to understand area models and know how to do them! In reading, our goal was to write Think Notes that correspond to our topics, such as predictions about the character, aha moments, Words of the Wiser and many more.
This week was an awesome week, like always! We learned so much. We can’t wait for next week, to learn some more!
HEY! It’s me again and I have a joke for you!
Q: what the difference between a guitar and a fish?
A: you can’t tuna fish!!!
